As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances, manage badge access, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine patrols. You will also interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions and directions while maintaining awareness of site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or coordinating with emergency services personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures related to access control and security-related operations.
