As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your strong presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, and you will represent Allied Universal's values of teamwork, caring, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while following site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or breaches of protocol in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, supporting the overall security-related operations of the location.
