As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, managing badge access, and interacting with visitors and employees. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Carry out security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any observed irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to support emergency response activities.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the industrial environment.
