As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage production environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, managing badge access, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. Your presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while you support a secure environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document all access control activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately in daily reports.
Communicate promptly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist with enforcing company policies regarding prohibited items, visitor procedures, and restricted areas within the location.
