As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and interact with employees and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with site-specific procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures in alignment with site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed according to established guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report observations, incidents, and maintenance issues as required by site protocols.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and client-specific procedures.
