As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, managing access badges, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the property, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, guests, and employees with inquiries or directions while maintaining a professional presence.
Carry out security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the site management, adapting to the unique needs of the commercial real estate environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports or electronic systems as required by site protocols.
Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities or site management as necessary.
