As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage badge access, and help monitor entry points and alarm activity. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns with clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Control entry and exit at gates, lobbies, and/or receiving areas by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, verifying appointments, and directing traffic to approved areas.
• Support food and beverage facility operations by monitoring deliveries, coordinating with shipping and receiving teams, and documenting carrier information, trailer numbers, and seal changes per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity through the appropriate channels.
• Complete detailed activity reports, access logs, and incident documentation, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
