About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Concierge in Bethlehem, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal team member at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in access control by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizing entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting any unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Document and report daily activities, observations, and any security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide assistance as needed.
