As a Security Officer - Logistics Site Entry Control and Patrol in Newville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and patrolling designated areas within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises to support site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe and report security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or breaches in accordance with company and client procedures.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment at the location.
