About The Position
As a Security Officer Access Control Agent in Umatilla, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
- Monitor entrances, gates, badge checkpoints, and/or visitor processing areas to help support authorized access, report irregular activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities and following post instructions for the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter, as assigned, noting facility conditions and reporting security-related issues or unusual activity.
