Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Rover Patrol in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and local first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access by monitoring doors, checking identification and/or visitor authorization when required, and directing guests to appropriate check-in points per site policy.
  • Complete required reports and documentation, including incident reports and patrol activity logs, and communicate status updates during shift turnovers and/or via established reporting channels.
