This is a driving post, requiring operation of a vehicle while engaging with the campus community and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual or suspicious conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for the educational location.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues encountered during patrols according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with campus staff and local authorities as needed to assist with incident response and resolution.
Remain alert to environmental and behavioral changes in the location that could indicate potential security-related concerns.
