About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Security Monitor to join our team! The Security Monitor is a critical role responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our site by observing and reporting the activities of uncleared contractors and other personnel. You will be required to have and maintain a security clearance and will be responsible for ensuring that all uncleared personnel are properly monitored and that all security protocols are followed. The Security Monitor is a critical role responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our site by observing and reporting the activities of uncleared contractors and other personnel. You will be required to have and maintain a security clearance and will be responsible for ensuring that all uncleared personnel are properly monitored and that all security protocols are followed. Requirements

Must hold a valid security clearance(Secret or Top Secret).
Ability to pass a background investigation.
Driver's License.
Strong observational and reporting skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Observe and report on the activities of uncleared contractors and other personnel to ensure compliance with security protocols and regulations.
Verify the identity of personnel and ensure they are properly badged and escorted at all times.
Monitor and report any suspicious or unauthorized activities in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Maintain a record of observations and reports, as required.
Provide escorts for uncleared personnel.
Challenge and report any individual who is not properly badged.
Participate in security inspections and surveys, as required.
Maintain a high level of vigilance and attention to detail at all times while on duty.
