About The Position

Responsible for managing the CEVA physical security program in an assigned region. Reviews all physical security requests and evaluates requests based on CEVA security, customer, government, regulatory, and industry standards. Ensures physical security related expenditures remain within budgetary expectations. Provides leadership and oversight to physical security projects in coordination and collaboration with relevant business partners.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Security, Criminal Justice, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field preferred; or, combination of education and work experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of seven years experience in corporate security or similar role.
  • Minimum of five years experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job related specific software applications including security reporting database software.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with physical security, security principals, investigative processes, report preparation and interviewing.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain security and the deployment of security policy across tiered partners.
  • Ability to effectively communicate security related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience with, or ability to understand internal and external implications of solutions proposed, potential areas of risk and methods to limit liabilities.
  • Experienced in managing cooperative working relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.
  • Ability to establish and manage vendor relationships in collaboration with other CEVA business partners.
  • Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Knowledgeable in the principles of project management, quality assurance and contract service delivery.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing and developing individuals and high performance teams.
  • Ability to manage the financial aspects of the department including purchasing, budget preparation and review, financial reporting and monitoring expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the oversight, management and integration of CEVA physical security guidelines and procedures at all assigned regional locations to ensure effective maintenance of security standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to assigned Regional Security Managers.
  • Ensure all CEVA guidelines for procurement are followed.
  • Receive all operational physical security requests, review requests based on requirements of CEVA, customer, government, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Lead physical security projects within assigned region to ensure they are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Review and audit guard coverage invoicing for assigned region. Identify, investigate, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.
  • Review proposed customer security requirements and indicate any areas of non-compliance with appropriate CEVA business partners.
  • Engage with CEVA Business Development to ensure new awarded customer security requirements are implemented as directed by contractual obligations and meet CEVA Security Standards.
  • Engage with CEVA Security Investigations to ensure all investigative matters are coordinated with all relevant business partners.
  • Evaluate and implement new technology that improves the overall CEVA security infrastructure while reducing costs.
  • Conduct security audits as necessary and in compliance with the CEVA Security audit policy.
  • Perform on-site security assessments in coordination with site leadership to identify potential areas of vulnerability and mitigation actions.
  • Work collaboratively with operational site leadership to resolve issues and improve overall security effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain a rapport with CEVA customer security departments.
  • Ensure surveillance systems, security systems and alarms in field locations are maintained and operational.
  • Familiarity with emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal research and/or participation in professional organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
