The Difference You Make: The Manager, Security is responsible for managing and monitoring physical security infrastructures for the Company's retail locations, ATMs and back-office facilities and the Company's critical security systems (access control, CCTV and Alarm). The incumbent is accountable for the Company's physical access environment; developing processes and controls to ensure compliance with GLBA Customer Information Security Program pertaining to physical security. S/he manages relationships with manufactures, security integrators, and manages a team of security staff. Ensure analysts are continuously and properly monitoring branch burglar alarm systems, threat intelligence feeds, corporate door alarms, and video surveillance equipment along with SOC telephone calls and emails. Assist analysts with evaluating physical security incidents for potential impact to employees, customers and property Direct analysts as they coordinate incident response efforts between on-site security personnel, law enforcement officers, and various internal business teams. Ensure incidents are properly escalated to management and communicated to the employee population as needed. Conduct new hire training and administer refresher training as needed Proactively monitor analyst performance to identify training opportunities and provide timely coaching. Continuously develop staff to ensure SOC objectives are achieved across all shifts. Review alarm and incident documentation for accuracy and completeness. Document analyst performance including coaching and training. Administer weekly schedule to ensure SOC is fully staffed at all times. Assign and track project work as requested by management. Analyze physical security incidents to determine their potential impact on employees, customers, and property. Be available by phone 24/7 for situations needing additional guidance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Security or equivalent field. - Required.
  • 5+ Years Prior security experience. - Required.
  • Advanced understanding of security technology and the monitoring of security devices and measures.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of security risks impacting the financial services sector and remediation measures.
  • Proficient with security operation center metrics and behaviors
  • Possesses commanding knowledge of all products, systems and procedures that are used within the SOC.
  • Ability to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
  • Reacts well under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.
