The Manager - Security will support the Sr. Security Manager and programmatic cross-functional leadership in direct support of National Security and contractual requirements for Special Access Programs (SAPs) based on the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, JSIG, and ICD-705. The selected candidate will directly manage/supervise a team of entry level to experienced security professionals and will be focal point for all security related tasks and matters in their assigned program.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience in leading and managing the execution of security processes and projects within an SAP/SCI work area
  • Experience executing the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, and ICD-705.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • DoD Clearance: Top Secret
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
  • Related training with Defense Security Service, Center for Development of Security Excellence or equivalent security certification programs.
  • Willing to travel on company business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the oversight and implementation of contractual security requirements for classified program areas, personnel, processes and activities.
  • Manage a small to mid-sized team of security professionals to include scheduling, coaching, training and evaluating performance.
  • Sets team objectives and milestones to ensure efficient operations.
  • Partner with personnel across functional organizations in support of business objectives, while ensuring compliance with US Government and Raytheon Company directives and policies.
  • Oversees the development and implementation local SOPs, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and constancy.
  • Manages the implementation of a self-inspection program to include evaluating findings and direct the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s).
  • Provide security support during Government inspections.
  • Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with and assist the ISSO/ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment.
  • Inspect, prepare for accreditation, and maintain secure facilities in accordance with ICD 705 standards.
  • Evaluates resource needs to develop proposals.
  • This position may require travel on company business.
