ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Identifies and successfully investigates matters of internal dishonesty. Controls the unexplained loss of merchandise and improve profitability. Identifies associate behaviors and/or operational issues through exception-based reporting and CCTV that may cause shrink. Identifies trends; makes recommendations for improvement; teach, train and coach associates to effectively handle opportunities; monitor corrective action. Prepares detailed and accurate reports in a timely manner. Monitors criminal cases, appear in court and testify as warranted. Follows up, supports and resolves safety, environmental and regulatory issues as assigned by the Director. Assists in supporting safety awareness and compliance in Distribution, including assistance with Workers' Compensation and General Liability claim process, and maintain all OSHA records. Uses data to identify trends that may lead to accidents and make recommendations for process changes or improvements. Assists with all Distribution specific training related to safety and machine training and recertification. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business or in Criminal Justice from an accredited institution Experience: 5 years’ in loss prevention, including 2 years’ experience in loss prevention management or related management
