Location Anaheim, California Excellent benefits and career growth opportunities Job Description: The GSOC (Security Operations Center) Operator is responsible for monitoring and supporting security operations across multiple medical clinic locations throughout California. This role ensures the safety and security of staff, patients, and property by utilizing surveillance systems, access control tools, and incident reporting platforms. Allied Universal® is hiring a Hospital Security Operation Center (SOC) Dispatcher . The Hospital Security Operation Center Dispatcher will answer telephones and dispatch hospital security personnel accordingly, observe for signs of crime or disorder, monitor video recording devices, and provide information quickly and accurately to the appropriate individuals. The Dispatcher is also responsible for documenting incidents in detailed reports and assisting with the functions of physical and personal security and safety measures of staff, members, and visitors at the healthcare facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; security-related certifications preferred.
  • Prior experience in a GSOC environment or security monitoring role is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with security technology platforms.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • No prior work experience required

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems for all clinic sites.
  • Respond to security alerts and escalate incidents according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs of security events and activities.
  • Communicate with on-site security personnel and clinic staff to coordinate responses.
  • Assist in emergency situations by following clinic-specific procedures.
  • Provide regular status updates to management and document all incidents in the SOC system.
  • Answer telephones, acknowledge alarm signals, monitor video recording devices as assigned throughout the service area and accurately providing pertinent information to the Security SOC Supervisor
  • Document incidents (including names, actions, and times) on the “Daily Activity Report”
  • Respond to the security needs of their assigned healthcare facility, its agents or contactors and personnel
