About The Position

As a Security Guards - Manufacturing Site - Weekdays in Martin, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an industrial manufacturing location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports related to daily activities and incidents.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits during patrols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the manufacturing and industrial environment.
