As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the urgent care facility and surrounding areas.
- Assist staff, visitors, and patients with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following instructions from Allied Universal and site leadership.
- Complete required logs, incident reports, and documentation accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and site procedures.
