About The Position

Legacy is seeking a Seasonal Part Time Security Guard to join a talented team and contribute to the continued growth of the Company. This role is integral to cultivating thriving communities built on mutual respect and collaboration. The primary function of this position is to assist with the day-to-day security of a manufactured housing/RV community.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Must be able to handle confrontation and be adept to deescalating conflict.
• Possess the ability to enforce property rules and identify emergency situations.
• Valid Driver’s License and Satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Needs to have the level of fitness that allows for parts of property rounds to be walked.
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
• Helpful courteous attitude.
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols.
• Must be able to lift up to a minimum of 30lbs.
• Ability to write and speak clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and understand the importance of timely completion of projects and follow through.
• Ability to understand the details of a project and the importance of details and accuracy in completing tasks.
• Ability to find a solution for and to deal proactively with work-related problems.
• Ability to use good business judgement in making critical decisions.
• Possessing the trait of following a systematic method of performing a task and maintaining an accurate record of the steps and documents involved.

Responsibilities

• Patrol Property, securing personnel, assets, buildings, gates, and fence perimeter are secure in all weather conditions.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and access points.
• Be visible, courteous, and observant always, greeting residents, guests, and vendors.
• Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately.
• Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.
• Help enforce all property rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
