About The Position

R+L Carriers has immediate need for Security Officers at our Dayton, OH Service
Center. Candidates must successfully complete the selection process to ensure we
are providing professional security officers who are dependable and reliable. We
are highly interested in candidates who are looking for a long-term career and
takes pride in their work, their communication abilities, and who believes in
the importance of a professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
• Have the ability to speak, read and write the English language
• Be at least 21 years of age
• You must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends if needed
• You must be able to physically stand, walk or patrol the assigned facility for the majority of your shift
• Applicants must have a verifiable ten year work history
• Must submit to a criminal history check, and pass a drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Previous military, police, or security guard experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Providing protection for the terminal’s security interests and property from theft, fires, sabotage, vandalism, illegal entry, and other acts that may adversely impact the company.
• Other duties as assigned by management staff.
