About The Position

POSITION PURPOSE: Security is dedicated to professionally upholding Lopez Dorada's policies and procedures, focusing on safety and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and decipher schedules and spreadsheets.
• Must read the Bill of Lading and decipher the shipping manifest.
• Must have good verbal and communication skills, computer experience with Excel and Word, and customer service experience
• Must have organizational skills
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
• Must be willing to work in an industry that operates 24/7
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• Security experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the whereabouts of all inbound and outbound traffic.
• Directing all inbound and outbound traffic.
• Required to maintain excellent communication with all staff and drivers.
• Will keep logs of yard checks, damage reports, and process logs, which will also require building and sending reports throughout the shift.
• Must be safely cautious at all times, not only of yourself but of others in your surrounding areas and vehicles you will be in contact with.
