Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and observe visitor, employee, and/or vendor activity for compliance with site procedures, reporting irregularities according to post orders.
• Complete required security-related documentation such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
