About The Position

As a Security Guard - Healthcare Center - Full Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to support a secure environment within the healthcare location.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in a timely and accurate manner.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies when appropriate.
Collaborate with staff and local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed to address incidents or concerns.
