Requirements

Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.
Ability to work in hospital morgue settings is required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions or information as needed, maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location.
Document and report security-related incidents or concerns according to site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during critical situations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
