About The Position
As a Security Guard - Utilities Site Patrol in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at the location.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
- Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the utilities environment to help maintain the integrity of the location.
