As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading utilities location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service and managing access control. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and employees at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification, logging visitors, and issuing temporary badges as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
Maintain awareness of activities at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
Assist with emergency response activities at the location, following Allied Universal protocols and client instructions.
Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel.
Maintain accurate records and logs related to visitor management, incidents, and other front desk activities.
