As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a utilities location. Your presence and attentive patrols will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals onsite. This position is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within utility locations.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or conditions and report findings according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and visitors to support the orderly operation of the location.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs as required by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
