Requirements

Possess outstanding customer service skills and can-do attitude.
High School Diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
3+ years of security or related experience, prior security license preferred but not required.
Previous military or law enforcement background preferred but not required.
Basic computer knowledge, including ability to use Microsoft Office products.
Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Background and drug test required.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
Have a strong presence while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Notify supervisors and on-site staff of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security issues, and safety hazards.
Make sure building is secure at all times and provide a security presence for event/class attendees as they enter and exit the building.
Identify individuals that should not be in the vicinity and act appropriately personally or by notifying law enforcement.
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
Additional duties as assigned.
