About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Walking Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and property teams while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
  • Monitor and control access through designated entrances, verify identification and/or visitor purpose when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership, and follow post orders and reporting requirements.
