As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist employees and visitors, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting notifications, documenting events and assisting with coordination with on-site management and/or local responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying employee, contractor and visitor credentials, managing sign-in procedures and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Support receiving and shipping operations by observing vehicle and trailer activity, checking delivery paperwork as directed by site policy and reporting unusual conditions to site leadership.
