As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will report concerns, support access control as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• A TSA-issued TWIC card is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, maintenance issues, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help to deter trespassing, theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited conduct, and report concerns through the established chain of communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with onsite personnel and/or public agency responders as directed by post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems in accordance with site requirements and company guidelines.
