Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and deliver clear, professional communication and customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout industrial buildings, production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, processing sign-in and sign-out requirements, issuing visitor directions, and supporting shipping and receiving traffic flow as directed by site policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site management and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol observations, access activity, and incidents using required systems and/or documentation, and communicate notable conditions to site contacts.
