As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a driving unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will assist with access control and support clear, professional communication while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify authorization when applicable, and assist with directing employees and guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from Allied Universal supervision and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Complete reports and shift documentation, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations of incidents when requested.
