As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle to patrol designated areas, respond to calls for service, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Act 235 qualification is required in Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct armed patrol duties, including regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe activity through patrols and available systems, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and requesting law enforcement and/or medical assistance as needed.
• Complete timely, accurate reports and logs, document incidents and patrol findings, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.
