About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and deliver a customer-focused experience while supporting a positive workplace. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct employees, contractors, drivers, and guests according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, document unusual conditions, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or the client point of contact.
