About The Position

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Full-Time Patrol Driver in Marysville, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will complete routine vehicle patrols, check for unusual activity, and document security-related observations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will stay visible to help discourage incidents, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and teammates while delivering reliable service with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and incident reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or lighting concerns.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate and in accordance with post orders.
  • Monitor entry points and controlled areas as assigned, verifying authorization, issuing visitor directions, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site policy.
  • Complete shift logs and required reports using Allied Universal reporting tools, communicating noteworthy activity, hazards, and policy concerns to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
