Job Description As a Security Guard - Transportation Entry Driver in Kansas City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming atmosphere for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the transportation facility, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access or activities by observing entrances, exits, and other critical areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, adapting to the working environment and conditions specific to the transportation location.
• Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
