As a Security Guard - Telecom Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence throughout the location. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor access points and observe activity in and around the location, reporting any irregularities or concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
- Document incidents, observations, and activities during patrols according to company and client requirements.
- Support emergency response activities as directed, working closely with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and/or vendors within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
