About The Position

As a Security Guard - Telecom Office Patrol in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology-focused environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential risks, with patrol frequency and routes varying as directed by site requirements.
Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.
Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident reporting at the location.
Participate in ongoing training and briefings to stay informed about site-specific procedures, technology industry-related concerns, and emergency response protocols.
