As a Security Guard - Telecom Facility Patrol in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while remaining visible throughout the property. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the tech and media environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required to address incidents and maintain order.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and assisting visitors and employees as needed.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to a tech, media, and telecom environment and respond appropriately.
