Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using good judgment and communication skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Maintain awareness of surroundings in a tech, media, or telecom environment and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in a clear and timely manner to support site security-related operations.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries, providing a helpful presence throughout the location.
