About The Position

As a Security Guard - Telecom Entry Screener in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for mobile patrols as well as routine checks. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the location, verifying credentials and following established protocols.
Report and document any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related concerns in accordance with company and client requirements.
Collaborate with on-site staff and local authorities as necessary to address security-related matters.
Remain alert to potential risks and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with security-related procedures and protocols relevant to the tech, media, and telecom environment.
