Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activities.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities as needed and assist with evacuation or other procedures as required by site protocols.
Maintain clear and concise communication with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Interact with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
