As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, support access control procedures, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone on site. This role requires driving as part of the job responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries, directions, and security-related information.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activity in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and/or hazards.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site representatives to support overall security-related operations.
Maintain awareness of site-specific policies and procedures, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
Utilize security-related technology, such as access control systems and surveillance equipment, as required by the site.
