About The Position

As a Security Guard - Tech Sector Driving Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service. This position requires driving responsibilities. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual situations.
Monitor access points and common areas within the location, maintaining awareness of the environment and reporting concerns as appropriate.
Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors to provide assistance and information as required.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks within a technology-focused environment and communicate findings to the appropriate parties.
