As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. This role involves both armed responsibilities and driving duties, allowing you to play a key part in upholding a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal management, providing customer service to clients and visitors at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, maintaining awareness of the environment at all times.
Report and document any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
Participate in emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Maintain a professional presence while interacting with staff, visitors, and other personnel at the location.
