Job Description As a Security Guard - Tech Patrol Driver - Day Shifts in Caledonia, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving role, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas within a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.
- Observe for unusual or suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior through visible patrols and engagement.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
- Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address ongoing security-related needs and concerns specific to the location.
