As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns to help to deter incidents. You will assist shoppers and team members with clear communication, observe and report activity, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, suspected shoplifting, medical events, and/or fire alarms according to post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances and exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards and/or policy concerns.
Monitor cameras, access points, and alarm systems when assigned, and report suspicious activity, property damage, and/or maintenance issues to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and customer service documentation, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
